We are No Longer Number One...and That is a Good Thing!!!

By
Mortgage and Lending with Signature Lending Group, Inc

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Georgia is no longer the number one state of mortgage fraud.  This has been a dirty crown that we have worn off and on(mainly on) since 2002.  We have recently dropped from number one to number eight!

Here is the top ten list:

 1)  Utah
 2)  Florida
 3)  California
 4)  New York
 5)  Idaho
 6)  Michigan
 7)  Arizona
 8)  Georgia
 9)  Minnesota
10)  Illinois

It is a Fraudulent post, you are only #8 because you counted Arizona twice!

Well, of course this is September now when I'm reading this post but it's good to know Georgia isn't number one in this category.  I hope that still holds true.  I guess most of the people committing these crimes are in prison now, is that why we dropped to number 8.  Did you check it against the prison pop to see if that happened to go up in relation?  LOL  :-)

If it follows hot markets, I don't know why it was here.  We didn't have those hot appreciations like they did on the coasts...
