Did you see that flake? Is it snnnnnow? Surely not!

Did you see that flake?  Surely - We can't be saying it - not the  ‘s' word -  in McCormick, South Carolina!  But yes, there it was this morning - for all to see - right on front of our house. It must have gotten lost to end up here in McCormick!

There's the often told story that a traveler from ‘up north' was looking for a new home to get away from the snow and ice of Michigan.  So he traveled south.  In every town, he would stop at the local hardware store and ask to purchase a snow shovel.  When he got to McCormick, South Carolina, Maurice at the local hardware store just laughed at him when he asked the question.  So the gentleman called the local REALTORS® (Bruce & Mary) and bought a home in Savannah Lakes Village.

I'm hurrying to write this post because that one flake I saw must have moved north in the past five minutes!  The golfers are going to make their tee times this morning!

Oh well - Another beautiful day in McCormick, South Carolina!

Yes and for the next 3 nights we will be below freezing.  So it's time to dig out the blankets and anything else we can find to cover our over-abundance of plants.  Also need to make provisions for the 5 ferals...they are not used to these temperatures.  My hubby says they will be just fine, but I'm not happy with that arrangement.  I'll find a box, line it with towels and place a heater beside it out in our screen porch.  What can I say....I love them :-)

    in Titusville....this isn't supposed to happen :(

My son attends Coastal Carolina University in Conway (right next to Myrtle); classes were cancelled after 2:00 today because of now flurries and possible bad weather....

What crazy weather!

Have a warm night!

So much for global warming:)) We had the coldest winter in twelve years that I can remember mid 60's with the exception of a ten day period of high 70's low eighty's.:))

Hi Everyone!  Believe it or not, we actually had flurries most of the day.  Nothing stuck, however, except in some wooded areas.  That'll be our snow event for a couple of years!  Thanks for your comments.
