Vertical Blinds: Should they stay or should the GO?

have a consultation for a client with an empty house and he has vertical blinds on both of his sliding doors.  I remember LOVING them was I was in my early twenties.  Now I can't stand them!  If I stage, I want to take them down.  If he decides to make the improvements that I suggest (except for leaving the house vacant) do I tell him to ixnay (is that how you spell it?!?) the vertical blinds?  What do you do about them?

Sorry if this is a repeat but it didn't seem to post.

Leanne - it depends on the target that you are marketing for - we get a lot of yuppie and up buyers here, they love vertical blinds!

( If you accidently submit a post 2 times - just hit the edit button and then delete the duplicate post - you should do that right away before you get comments on it - not good to delete people's comments, but duplicate posts on your blog is not good. )

Welcome to AR - if you need any help, send me an email or call.

Thanks Virginia, I am having a hard time with the new AR. I can't even get my picture to post with my comment.  I just recently learned that I had to pay for it but I can't find anything thing anywhere on how to upgrade my membership.  The only place that seemed logical was billing information but it was blank!  I didn't even think this blog was posted because it said it was flagged as possible spam!

I didn't know vertical blinds had come back!  Do you mean they love the "vintage" blinds or is there a new kind of vertical blind out there and I am completely out of the loop?

Leanne, like yourself I really dislike verticals and almost always recommend that they GO or at the very least be pulled completely back...not used to cover the window/doors.  Also, in my experience, most men like them and don't understand why others do not.
