I am so thrilled that another one of our short sales closed this week. This has been a rough one! Countrywide made it difficult every step of the way, and it took us 7 months to get it closed! In the end, the home was actually only active on the market for 36 days! We got an offer on it pretty quickly, but that buyer got tired of waiting for the bank and pulled out just as we got approval for the short sale. After going back on the market, we had another offer within the week, but had to start the process all over again, even though it was for HIGHER than the original contract sales price!
There were so many times that I thought this was going to fall apart. Hours were spent on the phone, countless emails were sent, and the file contains over 250 pages, be were were determined to make it work for all parties. Not closing was never an option for our team! We were fortunate to find some people in Countrywide that were willing to help, and are so happy to have come to a postive conclusion for all parties!
