South Austin has long been known for its diversity, uniquity and eccentricity. I am a born and raised Austinite (south) the roots of my family go way back, 4 generations in Austin. My father used to point out Log cabins that he used to live in and tell me there were dirt roads leading to them where now there are highways. He was actually baptized in Onion Creek by Brother Eberhart! This group is being formed in order to help preserve and promote the citizens and businesses of South Austin.
