Both my wife and I have used Jack Williams Tire and Auto for many of our service needs. We have owned several vehicles over the last few years and have always found them to be reliable,, honest and ethical. They are very convenient, keep good hours and have a good connection with parts distributors, getting parts quickly where many other places could take days. Phil Kapsis is the manager there, he is very cordial and they aren't afraid to show you what is wrong with the vehicle. When I had a nasty smell coming out of my 09 Sonata, they pulled out my air filter to show that rats had built a nest in there. It was the worst air filter they ever seen. LOL. Well that is reason enough for me to keep coming back. They may not be the cheapest but they do good work and I feel I am treated ...

Golf, Great views and Glamorous Homes...Country Club of the Poconos has them all! Here in the Poconos, we have a plethora of beautifully, scenic landscapes which for years was famous for attracting nature seekers and newlyweds. Things have changed here over the past few decades and so what was once a haven for honeymooners has now become a place of predominantly permanant residences. The central location, (2 hours to New York or Philly), the breathtaking natural beauty, and the year round activities such as Waterparks, Golf and Skiing has made the Poconos a great place to call home. As a professional Home Stager and Designer in these beautiful Mountains, I have the great fortune of seeing all types of properties and the communities that surround them. I am forever discove...

I was recently investigating why a certain search did not produce my web site in a particular result and while I know why that is the case, I stumbled upon something that is very fishy and perhaps illegal. I found that a "Land Sale Company" who charges a fee for so called "free and clear" land deals of up to 50% off, has a link to an area brokerages' web site for an MLS search of the homes in that particular community, giving both the land sale company and the brokerage, valuable links that make them rank higher in searches. I do not know about you, but I am bringing this to the attention of my local board. For true representation with no gimmicks (buyers do not have to pay for buyer represenation from a Realtor ever and can still save you the up to 50% they claim) on land sales in...

Look for the pink ribbons! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It's easy to find the pink ribbon items throughout the year, but now you'll see a lot of promotions for pink ribbon products. Even the NFL players, coaches & refs were wearing pink everything yesterday! One of the many places to find pink ribbon items is at the Marshalls Creek Flea Market. Of course, these purchases benefit a great cause and help create awareness, but there are really nice things for gifts, too! In building A at the flea market, a breast cancer survivor has opened a booth where she sells all different kinds of items. From umbrellas adorned with a little pink ribbon to pink rubber duckies, she has a little bit of everything. She's there all year long, so when you find yourself travelling through the Poc...
