Thank you to Paul Henderson for this inspiration contest! At first I thought this might be TMI, I might have even worried that it was TMI. Then I laughed at myself and decided to go for it. My mom was a worrier, it was bad. She worried about everything under the sun. I can remember thinking that if only she could chill out and stop worrying her life would be so much different! Are you a "have a great day" or a "make it a great day" type of person? One day as I was reading posts and commenting on them I seemed to be following Joe Petrowsky. And something he said kept jumping out at me, "Make it a great day"! Then I noticed a few others who used the same phrase. Of course there were those, like me, who tended to the "have a great day" side of the coin. Suddenly it hit me, all that I believe in was in those few words, "make it a great day". The best is yet to come! I was lucky blessed enough to be asked by Sally Cheeseman to be one of the judges in her Spring Renewal Contest. The contest is closed, the posts are in, now the hard work begins. Deciding who wins... wow, that is really tough. Even if you didn't enter, you should stop by and get re-energized by those who did participate. Interesting thing happened on the way to the finish line.... When you see a man of worth, think of how you may emulate him. When you see one who is unworthy, examine yourself. Confucius I love this quote. I had such lofty things to say about it, but really, it stands on it's own, doesn't it? (Sunset, Martha's Vineyard, MA)
