Everything is Bigger in Texas, and about to get even BIGGER in Dallas-Fort Worth! DFW is about to undergo some changes over the next decade, all impacted largely by one thing only: population growth. Mike Eastland, CEO of the North Central Texas Council of Governments, says Dallas-Fort Worth aims to be innovative with preserving natural resources and meeting the demands of a booming city.
Dallas anticipates a growth in population from 7.3 million to about 9 million people by 2027. Small suburban towns can expect tenfold their current population, within the same amount of time!

downtown dallas: Dallas Farmer's Market - 'The Shed' Opens - 09/01/14 05:05 AM
I am so excited to see development and rejuvenation in many parts of Dallas that have seen shadows for years. Much of East Dallas is going through expansion and growth, with new construction, rehab, and eliminating the riff-raff that tends to occur over years of neglect and a turned eye.
The area between Dallas City Hall and Deep Ellum has been one of those lucky spots, with new money coming in to facilitate face-lifts - and that includes the newly re-opened Farmer's Market 'Shed #1'... or what is now called "The Shed."
Interestingly, DF Market Holdings purchased the Farmer's Market acreage from the City … (2 comments)
