Things just keep getting more exciting!  After 7 1/2 years with the brokerage and almost 2 years of serving as the Managing Broker for our RE/MAX Allegiance office in McLean, VA, I've been offered a new opportunity.
BRIAN IS SPREADING HIS REAL ESTATE WINGS!

I'm pleased to announce that in addition to my continuing duties as the Broker for the McLean office, I am now the Managing Broker of our RE/MAX Allegiance office in Arlington, Virginia.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
In total, I'm now directly responsible for supervising over 80 real estate agents and brokers -- about 30 in McLean … (10 comments)

remax allegiance mclean: Your Home Sale or Purchase Helps Children & Breast Cancer Patients - 10/29/10 09:10 AM
In today's real estate market, finding the right house to buy or getting your desired price when you sell can be a challenge.  Yet, despite those challenges, they are trivial compared to the challenges faced every day by 1. young children with diseases, serious illness, or injury & 2. women who are diagnosed with breast cancer.
That's why RE/MAX partners with Children's Miracle Network (CMN).  Here in the D.C. area, my brokerage, RE/MAX Allegiance supports the Children's National Medical Center in Washington D.C.  Additionally, both RE/MAX and RE/MAX Allegiance support the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

remax allegiance mclean: Agents Eating Pizza - 06/09/10 12:30 PM
Pizza, Pizza. Pizza.
That hot combination of tomato sauce, melted cheese, dough, and crust that has delighted mankind throughout the ages!
Today, we had a pizza party at our RE/MAX Allegiance office in McLean, Virginia.
You see, selling homes is important.  It's what we do.  It's how we earn our living.  In fact, when you look at the statistics about RE/MAX Allegiance, you'll see that Nobody Sells as Much with as Few! Nobody.
To keep up our sales momentum, we decided that setting some goals would be in order.  If the office sells a minimum of an average of one home … (13 comments)

remax allegiance mclean: Nobody Sells as Much with as Few! Nobody. - 04/12/10 10:01 AM
This afternoon I spent some time reviewing the 2010 Power Broker Report.  This report is produced by RISMedia and is the 22nd Annual Power Broker Survey looking at the top 300 real estate brokerages in the United States.  It's published this month in RISMedia's REAL ESTATE magazine.
Being the numbers and statistics junkie that I am, I did a little figuring.
And this is what I figured out about my company, RE/MAX Allegiance:
Nobody Sells as Much Real Estate with as Few Agents as RE/MAX Allegiance!  Nobody.

Here's the scoop:
RE/MAX Allegiance is ranked #22 in the country by total … (6 comments)

remax allegiance mclean: $2,467,601 Per Week: That's What My Office Has Sold - 03/18/10 07:28 AM
This week marks one year since I became the Managing Broker of our RE/MAX Allegiance office in McLean, VA.  It's a good time to look back and reflect on some numbers.  These numbers make me very proud of our great agents here and quite happy with my first year "at the helm."
Here we go:
Over the last 365 days our office had a total of 317 sales for a total sales volume of $128,667,784.
That's over 6 sales per week for an average volume of $2,467,601 every week of the past year.
I compared that with the 365 days previous … (7 comments)

remax allegiance mclean: "We Want the 3 Not the 97!": A Video Invitation to Join RE/MAX Allegiance - 09/08/09 12:09 PM
Are you a real estate agent looking for a home?
Silly question, I know.
If you're licensed as a real estate agent or broker and you're not looking for a home, it probably means you have no clients and no business.  Either that or you are so successful that all you do is prospect, market, and list homes for sale and you've got a team of buyers agents running around town helping clients look for a home.
I'm talking about a different type of home -- a Real Estate Brokerage that you can call home!
If you are a Virginia or … (2 comments)

remax allegiance mclean: You Can't Argue with the Facts! Are You Ready for RE/MAX? - 08/18/09 03:09 PM
Everyone has an opinion.  However, you cannot argue with the facts.
This video from RE/MAX International presents facts and only the facts ma'am.  Does anybody even remember Dragnet?  I only know it from the Nick at Nite reruns.  Even then I'm dating myself.
Watch this:

Now that you know the facts, let me know if you're thinking about making a switch from your current brokerage.  We're looking for agents with the three E's:  energy, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial drive.
I'm the Managing Broker of RE/MAX Allegiance in McLean, Virginia.
Give me a call for the facts, just the facts.  … (5 comments)

The festivities will take place at Thirsty Bernie Sports Bar & Grill located at 2163 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA.  The Happy Hour runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Here's the Top 10 reasons to attend the Happy Hour:

remax allegiance mclean: RE/MAX is the ONLY Real Estate Company to Advertise on National Television - Why This Matters - 06/09/09 07:49 AM
This morning, Inman News reported that RE/MAX has national TV to itself.
As a managing broker of an office at one of the largest, and the most productive RE/MAX franchise in the entire RE/MAX system, I greeted this news with excitement.  I already knew that RE/MAX dominated national television, and in fact, almost all advertising mediums -- print, online, radio, and t.v.  At the RE/MAX Convention back in March, the company told us that they expected their share of television advertising to increase this year from 50% to probably about 65%.
However, nobody predicted that RE/MAX would be the ONLY real … (7 comments)
