Recently I was in Kona, Hawaii and went to a chocolate plantation. We walked through the groves and saw the pods hanging on the trees. They were 3 or 4 colors but told they were all the same.
Here is a pile of the cocoa pods that were picked off the trees.
The little green Geckos like to lick the pods but do not eat them. These Geckos were so cute.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and now I know where chocolate comes from.
Califorinia has had a lot of shaking going on this weekend as Napa had a 6.0 earthquake. Many other states have earthquakes and it is always better to be prepared. Alzheimer's...Would You Want to Know? Would You TAKE THE 15 MINUTE TEST A few months ago I heard there was an Alzheimer's Test out and if you took it, it would let you know if you were predestined to have Alzheimer's. I had worried that it would be something I wouldn't want to know.

Of course her discussion was interrupted during the football game at the final play where the ball was dropped and made everyone scream. There he was just sitting there having breakfast. Luckily my little chihuahua was inside. As you can see there, there are a lot of white feathers there so I think he got a pigeon and sat down to eat.
