MSN real estate recently had an article about buyers in multiple offer situations writing “love letters” to sellers. This is more effective if the seller has lived in the home for many years and may have an emotional attachment to the house. They suggested that buyers write a bit about themselves, what they love about the house, and that they are devoted to taking good care of it.
