There is a new subdivision in the Maurice landscape called Village Estates. This new neighborhood is located in the city limits around the corner from the Maurice park and just a couple of blocks away from Maurice Elementary. DSLD is the developer and prices start in the $170,000s.
Home sizes start around 1650 square feet up to about 2000 square feet and feature 3 and 4 bedrooms. There is a pond in the center with several homes having water frontage.

La Premiere is a subdivision located just south of the town of Maurice, LA, off of Hwy 699 and not far from North Vermilion High School. Construction in La Premiere began in 2002 and is still going on today, with only a few lots remaining. La Premiere features a neighborhood park for children and a pond with some of the homes having water frontage.
