Coincidence? That’s a philosophical conversation in itself. What I do know is this. Cherise Selley and Hannah Parsons did not plan what they were going to wear to work today. Yet, amazingly, their fashion style merged beautifully, ranging from the color schemes of their outfits to the style of jewelry they wore to the length of each piece of garment they adorned. Coincidence or the emergence of like-mindedness? For the past two weeks I’ve experienced the collision between life and death, as my father passed away on September 19, 2011. Subsequently, I’ve taken the appropriate time to grieve (I probably need more), and then have re-entered my life, as I now see it. I could spend days unloading the lessons I’ve learned from grief and how I’ve been putting together how the power of truth impacts our times of brokenness. But that’s not what this blog is about. Rarely do I recommend books to others to read. Reading is very personal to me. If I’m searching for entertainment, then I’ll choose something much more stimulating than reading.
