The long anticipated Rivergate Condiminum project in Prince William County is now underway. The community located on the Occoquan River will eventually house three fifteen story buildings and a 10,000 square foot club house and marina. This will make it the largest high rise development in Prince William County. Currently the largest high rise in the county is the nine story Harborview Condominium located a quarter mile down the river in Belmont Bay. A few days ago I mentioned that this is the weekend for the fall Occoquan Arts and Crafts Festival. In addition to this popular event you can also head over to Belmont Bay on Sunday at 3 PM and take in the Army Blues Jazz Ensemble at the marina. This 18 piece orchestra is a real treat to listen to. Not only will you get the chance to hear great Jazz but you can enjoy the view of the boats in the marina and the Occoquan River rolling by. Have you ever been out showing houses and for some reason gotten a song stuck in your head? This morning I was out showing houses in an Active Adult community called River Ridge in Prince William County. Then it dawned on me what was happening. I was on a roll showing properties all connected to the river either Potomac or Occoquan.In the past few weeks in Prince William County I have traversed River Bend, River Falls, Potomac Falls, River Gate, River Oaks and River View Estates.
