The Spokane Market is still hot! With extremely low interest rates paired with low inventory, we are seeing continued strong appreciation. Below is updated data from the Spokane Association of Realtors. 591 closed sales of single family homes on less than one acre including condominiums were reported for October. Closed sales are up 4.4% compared to closed sales over October 2014. The average sales price for October was $201,766 up 5.3% over October last year’s $191,679. Median sales price was up 5.6% over October last year, $180,000 v. $170,000. Year to date sales through October are up 19.8%, 5,829 v. 4,864. Closed sales of single family homes on less than one acre including condos totaled 657 in September. This is the highest number of closed sales for a September in eight years. Compared to last year, sales for the month of September were up 29.6%, 507 closed sales were reported in September 2014. The average sales price for September was $200,220 up 4.2% over September 2014 when the average sales price was $192,101. The median price was up 4.5%, $183,000 v. $175,100.
