I have to admit, if I receive one more offer with an earnest money deposit of $100 I think I am going to scream! In the words of one of my sellers, "Tell them they are buying a house! Not a piece of furniture, not a new TV, heck, I would be embarassed to give that little of a deposit if I were buying a new car."
