I was asked this morning about the "Subscribe in a reader" and the" Subscribe to The Shoreline Blogger - Sandra Cummings by email" that I have on my posts. The RSS feed I'm using is Feedburner. It is very easy to set up and the great thing about it is you can add more than one blog to it. It is very user friendly, so even if you're technically challenged, like I am, you should be able to add the feed to your sites. This is a free site. Another reason, I really like the site is because you can keep track (31 comments)
I have a certain Mortgage Lender who I refer buyers to quite a bit. I always give 3 references, but he is my top choice of lenders. Why, because out of all the lenders I have worked with, and I have had the fortune to have work with some really great ones, he goes above and beyond to get the job done for me. I have known him to go the Court House to get copies of a divorce decree because my buyer was unable to locate hers and could not take time off from work. He has gone to elderly (38 comments)
John Caffery & The Beaver Brown Band preformed again this year at the North Haven Fair. It was a beautiful night, much different than last year's pouring rain and the band played all their old hits which had the crowd on their feet and dancing. And when they performed their hit "On the dark side", it brought down the house.
The audience went crazy when John Caffery and Michael "Tune" Antunes jumped down from the stage and mingled with the crowd. Michael's saxophone playing was hot as the band played their hit "Tender Years", which is also from the movie "Eddie and the Cruisers". (23 comments)

The 65th Annual North Haven Fair runs this year from September 6 - 9. There are plenty of activities for the whole family. The children may enjoy: The Petting ZooThe Ronald McDonald ShowsMaybe an Elephant RideOf course, that is if you can take them away from the mid-way with the amusement rides and games of chance. You can stroll through the exhibits such as the arts and craft, live stock, and home grown produce to see who won "Best in Show" this year. The competition is always fierce. If all that walking has made you hungry, stop by one of the many food vendors. (10 comments)

Nestled in the quaint Town of Branford are the Thimble Islands. There are a least 23 islands that are inhabited. The islands are made up of a series of rock formations formed by receding glaciers. The Thimble Islands have long been a play ground for the wealthy and in it's heyday it was known as the " Newport of Connecticut". Legend has it that Captain Kidd buried his treasure on Money Island, many have looked, but no one has discovered Kidd's fortune yet

This year the magazine decided to concentrate on "small towns" across the country. North Haven stood out due to their strong economic development, large business base, proximity to the City of New Haven and the many local cultural events that are held throughout the year. The magazine didn't even touch upon our low taxes, excellence school system (with our brand new high school), town meeting form of government or our strong sense of community. (22 comments)
connecticut real estate: Just because you got your real estate license doesn’t mean you know how to sell real estate.

I know you're all excited you are now licensed to sell real estate. You have taken your classes and passed the state test. You have signed on with a real estate company, ordered you business cards, and convinced one of your friends that you are now a real estate professional and can find them their dream home. But that doesn't mean you know what you are doing. When you are first starting out you need to find a company that has an excellent training program for new agents. A broker, who will always be there to answer questions, goes over paperwork before (49 comments)
