One of the homes for sale in Silver Spring, MD that I showed this past weekend came with a Home Protection Plan. That's nothing unusual in the Silver Spring area - it offers some peace of mind for the buyer and, if the appropriate coverage is selected, for the seller as well. However, something tells me that this is not the kind of Home Protection Plan the sellers of this Silver Spring home had in mind ..
