entenmanns bakery closing: Mineola, NY - Entenmann’s Bakery Outlet to Close after 30+ Years

After decades of fattening up central Nassau County residents, the well know Entenmann's Bakery Outlet, at the northeast cornert of Roslyn Road and Jericho Turnpike wil be closing. According to an article in our local Patch.com website, it will be relocated in Carle Place on Glen Cove Road. I remember begging to go in when we'd drive by. My mother was not big on sweets in the house, but she would relent at the outlet as all of the great snacks were discounted based upon age.
