Holiday Fireworks Displays in Central Connecticut Almost everyone looks forward to the fireworks displays for the July 4 holiday. Below is a list of events in Connecticut for the fireworks that are available. Go early, bring a chair and for some of the events take part in the activities as well.

Liquid Fireworks. . . Aruba Style We just returned from a few days of vacation in Aruba to celebrate our wedding anniversary. While there we were able to appreciate an art display that is offered nightly in the center courtyard of the Paseo Herencia Mall in an area of the island known as Palm Beach. So many people are well familiar with the water display that is a trademark of the Belaggio Hotel in Las Vegas. This is a smaller version, known as Liquid Fireworks, that this mall presents nightly for visitors. I thought I would share it as well.

Music And Fireworks a Perfect Fit! The summer venue of the Hartford CT Symphony Orchestra is the Meadows in Simsbury CT. There with a band shell, professional lighting and sound system. The musicians take a summer break and entertain under the stars to 3-4,000 of their closest friends. Officially, it's the Talcott Mountain Music Festival. Picnics on the lawn or dine at a front row table, but the music is the same to all, just perfect.
