World Cup Biathlon Competition with mens and womens pursuit events held today in Presque Isle, Aroostook County Maine and your Active Rain cub reporter Andrew Mooers at the scene. Big snow over night made the course a challenge for crews to rip and whip in to shape, but the day cleared off and what a crowd. Almost as many media there from around the world to cover the event. In Europe the World Cup Biathlon is huge and an estimated 120 million folks around the planet expected to be glued to the tube for the event. Never mind the Super Bowl Sunday this nation enjoys and parties around.
