I Love Lake In The Hills!!!
I just celebrated 8 years of living in Lake in the Hills and I gotta say, I didn't want to move here.  Funny,  I went from crabby about moving to crazy about LITH, but it's true!  I thought it was too far from the city and good shopping and awesome restaurants and nightclubs.  But I was about to be married so why did I think I'd be having fun anymore?  OK that was harsh - what I meant was, my life and my idea of fun was about to change.  SO here are the things I love about where I live.
There really is a lake in the hills!!  I doubted it for a long time since I had only ever heard about Crystal Lake and the beach and the cardboard boat regatta at Crystal Lake.  Now I can confidently say that there is a lake - 4 actually - and my daughters have both enjoyed their preschool experiences overlooking Woods Creek Lake.  There's really nothing like learning while overlooking the water.   It's so lovely we even had our family portraits done there in the Fall.
