BRUNSWICK, MARYLAND, A TOWN OF 6,000 RESIDENTS AND NO GROCERY STORE??
When I learned that Super Fresh Grocery Stores filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, the news was that some stores would be closed.  I was shocked to find that the Super Fresh in Brunswick, MD will close it's doors June 23rd, 2011.
NO GROCERY STORE IN BRUNSWICK.  A town of over 6,000 residents will have NO GROCERY STORE!!!
NEW GROCERY STORE IS "PLANNED".  A new grocery store is "planned" for Brunswick Crossing, a new home development in Brunswick.  However, it's still only "planned".   HA!  A Trader Joes was "planned" for Lovettsville too.  5 years ago when I built my home in Lovettsville, the Trader Joes was still planned for the New Town Center.  It never came.  The collapse of the housing market was all it took to send Trader Joes and other commercial conveniences packing. 
As of June 23, 2011, the nearest grocery store for Brunswick, MD residents will be:
Frederick, MD - 13 milesPurcellville, VA - 11 milesLeesburg, VA - 15 milesCharlestown WVA - 20 miles 
  Town of Brunswick. 
  New and newer homes in Brunswick.
