Some People Are Better Off With a J.O.B.
Not long ago I wrote about a friend who had asked me for marketing advice for her convenience store. I came up with a plan for her to promote it for very little money, wrote it all out and gave it to her.
She said "Thanks, I'll think about it" and that's as far as it got. A couple of months later, the store closed for good.
That marketing plan I wrote for her turned into a little e-book, which I decided to offer on Amazon for Kindle.
What I didn't mention was that I've written about this person before.
She's the one who sent me 3 different emails the same day - one promoting her Avon business, one telling me she'd changed real estate brokers and asking me to send business her way, and one telling me about some great bargains at a local thrift store where she was working.
That's right - she was also a real estate agent. Well, she had a real estate license, anyway.
