Sitting in the sunshine...
I just finished this awesome real estate course that gave great detail to marketing to your SOI (sphere of influence). The recommendation is to go for the soft sale and targeting those that care about you and your business through non-business events.Does this justify the sunburn I'm hosting from the park yesterday? My shoulders will be telling a warm story for a few days yet, but we had a nice time swimming with a friend, past client and avid supporter of my business.
The only business we talked about? The need for me to answer a text or two.  In the meantime? We built sand castles, watched fish swimming in the lake and entertaining the little ones for hours on end. It was great!The best part? I really do believe that the soft touches make a difference. I believe that we should all take a day at the beach once in awhile and show our true colors (hopefully it's not stark white but filled with a little tan). It isn't everyday that the sun is shining, the kids are happy and a mom gets to socialize. What's better? My clients get it. Both buyers and sellers. They encourage my days off ... more
