Crofton area home sellers are proud of their homes, and most are very confident that their home is the best in the entire zip code. It's not uncommon for them to politely ask a REALTOR®, "What should I do to prepare my home for sale?" but then take offense at staging suggestions.
The "before" photos of this stager could be any home in the greater Crofton area - clean, uncluttered, in good repair - but the "after" photo shows what a difference staging can make. It's true... what's in your home CAN affect its likely sale price. 
Staging is not a criticism of you or your home. It is the art of transforming your home from one that reflects your tastes, interests, and personality into one that has the potential to reflect any buyer's tastes, interests, and personality. It's sometimes as simple as re-arranging the furniture or replacing some accessories.
