My biggest Social Media Success Story started when I stepped outside my comfort zone and started my Blog on ActiveRain. I have to confess, it was scary dipping my toes out into the Universe. If memory is correct, I did it in the dark, late at night. Within minutes I received a reply. I couldn't believe my eyes! I wasn't alone! It all happened just that fast and I've been on ActiveRain ever since. 
 
The premise, of course, was to get leads, sales, buyers, and sellers while earning money in Real Estate! But the truth is, that didn't happen. I cannot tell a lie. As a result of Social Media, I didn't get anything  - zippo! Nadda! When it came to Real Estate, I got "Pie in the sky! My business continues primarily as a result of referrals. 
 
Now I would bet you're wondering by looking at the number of points gained from participating in blog entries, providing comments, going to Rain Camp, making phone calls to other ActiveRainers, and submitting entries for contests what kept you on ActiveRain if it didn't produce results in the Real Estate industry?
