Keeping in Touch With Clients In the Equine Community 
Throughout the year, I keep in touch with my clients.  I use various ways staying connected with them.  The most popular way, and reaching out to many, is posting on social media regularly.  I will post any events that are coming up, interesting articles and news, etc.  I also email them on special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, winning events, or to send my condolences on a loss. 
 
I mostly prefer face-to-face meetings.  Volunteering is a good way I stay in touch.  Many of my clients participate in equine events.  When I volunteer at the events, I will get there earlier than my assigned time to check the program to see who I know is competing.  Then I will walk around the show grounds to find them, to say "hello" and wish them the best in their competition.  Sometimes we end up chit-chatting.  At these events, I will also run into other volunteers that are clients.
 
At other events, I will set up a table for my business.  As people walk by, I meet many of my clients who stop to chat.  It is a great way to catch up on how they are doing and what is ... more
