Governor Cuomo's statewde Regional Economic Development Council initiative awarded 17 Columbia County projects with approximately $2.8 million in funding this year. Senator Schumer visited Hudson's waterfront to review key aspects of the City's economic development plan. During the visit the Senator urged CSX to work with the city. Local  officials press ahead in their proposal to acquire CSX land that could be the linchpin in its multi-millionm dollar redevelopment of the for KAZ warehouse site on Front Street.
