I love statistics.  Just ask my colleagues; I'm always running charts, reports and commenting on what has changed since last year, or improved in the past two years, determining what is our average market price (our wonderful Board staff helps with that) and just generally being a walking, talking real estate statistician for Door County properties.  
 
As a real estate Broker and a Realtor, my JOB is to know our Door County real estate market.  This information helps me to be a strong listing agent.  Today I was writing a client about vacant land sales (slow, but his price is still top notch, so be patient), as well as spending some time in the copy room discussing how our third quarter was disappointing in 2016, but that our fourth quarter brought some encouragement for the end of the year statistics.  Sometimes the truth hurts.  Every week I am forced to tell someone that their home is likely not worth what they really think it is---and they can take my advice or not, but they have to respect me ... more
