Having SSL Conversion Trouble? Something I Learned That May Save You Trouble

If you don't have a Wordpress site, you can probably skip this post.
If you're super sharp on running and modifying your Wordpress site, you can just click Next!
But if you've got a Wordpress site and know just enough to be dangerous to yourself, then this post MIGHT be for you!  Consider this a bonus Ask An Ambassador post for the week.
And if you have no idea what SSL is, you might want to go read Tammy Emineth 's post about what SSL is and her offer for you to hire her to take care of your conversion.   That $75 fee might save you a lot of time and effort, or you can go FSBO like I did...and with all the problems that come with that :)
What helped me was some general guidance from WPBeginner.com.  That site is loaded with great tutorials and for the most part not too tech speak heavy.  So their SSL tutorial got me through the basics along with some instructions from my IDX provider's site.
