Ask An Ambassador: Blog Or Get Spanked

Back in the Dark Ages when I was growing up, if I misbehaved I risked getting spanked.  Nothing vicious or harmful...although I did turn out to be an engineer :)
In the Navy of course discipline is a key part of life.  There are rules and consequences for breaking them.
Now as a blogger, there's no granny with a switch or a captain of the ship ready to chew me out if I don't do what I should.
What I do and don't do is totally up to me.
Do I blog today?
What do I blog about?
How thoroughly do I cover the topic?
Every choice is up to me.  As Yoda said, "Do or Not Do, There Is No Try."
So I Do.
Don't get me wrong, it would be easy to Not Do.  Tonight it's pushing 11 p.m.  I was up at 6.  A full day at my engineering job.  A closing at 5 p.m.  A showing from 7-8.  In the neighborhood of one of our favorite Chinese restaurants, so order take out.  Home around 9.  Eat fairly quickly.  Then the nightly pet feeding (and we have a LOT of cats and dogs, so that's 45 minutes to an hour of time).  So finally, it's time to ... more
