I am thankful that Dolores and I are members and frequent visitors at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. It is one of our favorite day trip destinations. Click on the link to view the website and plan your visit.
The photograph in this post was taken at the American Dahlia Society Show at Longwood Gardens, one of the many outstanding events that take place there every year.
The current events are the Chrysanthemum Festival and Autumn's Colors on view through November 18, 2018. There are over 17,000 chrysanthemums on display. Take an extra battery for your camera because you will be taking lots of photographs.
The Garden Railway is now on display and there are multiple Open Air Theatre Fountain Shows every day. The very special annual exhibit that changes every year, A Longwood Christmas, will be on display from November 22, 2018 through January 6, 2019.
