Monday Musings: Do You Listen With Your Heart, Or Your Mind ?
The next time you listen to someone, client, family or friend...listen with your heart and not your mind! You will be amazed at the results. 
 

One of the most important qualities in our opinion, when it comes to being human is the ability to listen with your heart, rather than your mind. Many of us listen to someone's problems or needs, and instantly offer good solutions to the problem.  As we listen our minds go into overdrive and we cannot wait to offer our brilliant solutions. At that point, we are not listening.
 
One our friends was distressed over a real estate issue involving close aging family and plenty of drama and trauma, involving the siblings.  She was in tears, stressed out of her mind.  We both listened attentively, till she was out of words and out of tears.  We did not say a word...just listened.
 
When she was calm, she had questions regarding encroachment, value, and loans. There was not doubt in our minds that she needed the information that a savvy real estate agent could give.  We suggested a lunch meeting with one of our luxury real estate clients in town. We all met at a ... more
