Snow Capped Mountains in the distance: a rare sight in Los Angeles... The last time I remember seeing Snow Capped Mountains was about 22 years ago...
Diane and I  relocated from Boston MA to Los Angeles CA and when we arrived it was El Nino. Rains we have never seen before. The volume was so bad that I used to drive Diane to work to her office in Downtown Los Angeles. This was before it was called DTLA. This was during the time I was forced to re-take my  Real Estate Courses and license, because California did not have reciprocity with Massachusetts.
I remember naively Diane was of the belief system that California does not have four seasons. I told her do not get rid of your winter coats etc. Gratefully she listened and the first three months she used them and thanked me every time.
So here we are 22+ years later same brutal cold spell, same volume of rain. Now they do not call it El Nino, they came up with a new word "climate change". The result is the same it is very cold and large volume of rain.
