Tulips in Texas is an early spring treat. Nobody plants tulips better than Pilot Point Farms in Denton. Tulips rarely repeat blooms and how long they last depend on the weather. That is why I recommend getting to Pilot Point Farms the sooner the better. Their tulips provide a spectrum of colors, shapes, sizes, and different variations that can not be purchased through local nurseries. The secret is Holland Bulbs. The owners go there every year, where they were born and raised to get new bulbs so every year you will see something different.
 
What makes climate conditions favorable in Texas is the limiting factor of deep-freezing weather that will freeze the soil. Sunshine is steady and rains are just enough to get blooms started. Even with the recent hail storm, these Tulips succeeded in blooming. I was lucky to get there at the right time. I can't imagine a world without Tulips and other spring flowers.
