I was prompted today, to write this after reading "Inspirations by April" here on AR. Her post "The Message--A full Life In The Emptiest Of Places", set me on my way to write this post as I deal with a very dificult time in my real estate career
There are 2000 agents hurting right now here in this bucolic, blessed part of the country because of the major change that has come to our real estate marketplace. Zillow has disconnected our listings database and we are literally out of business. 
No one can figure out what to do to be able to survive in this profession. Young agents with families; older agents who still have to work, all are in need of support right now and I have to do what I know how to do: inform the population as to what is happening and what we can do to change this rocky path we are on.
After sending out a call to action, I got this response from one young man with 3 little ones, and it hit me how much this problem has affected everyone in real estate here! This was just one of many heart-rending messages ... more
