Why do people slam doors?

I searched the web this morning trying to find out why people slam doors. I did find some articles that stated some of the reasons for slamming doors, anger, frustration, etc.
But it did not explain "why" some people slam doors everyday, all day long, all week long and so on. There are several reasons why I think some people slam doors all the time ...
1.  Their parents yelled at them when they were young because they may have not closed the door completely.
2.  They want whomever is in the home to know that there, entering or leaving.
3.  They are venting their everyday frustration on the door by slamming it.
4.  They might not know their bad habit.
 
Can anyone add to this post and please explain why people always slam doors?
I myself think slamming doors is very irritating and hate when people do it.
And not only is slamming doors irritating, in time it will ruin the doors, hinges and door opening ...
