So The Answer Is In The I...  You likely know of the phrase that references....in the eye of the beholder.  Typically it is attached to appearance as "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".  And you certainly don't have to think about it too long.  Much like any opinion...it can and does vary.  Definitely subjective. Yes, an I for an eye.  Sorta. 
 
I have known for quite some time that we should not emphasize "I" when writing or speaking.  The blog posts of ActiveRain member Marte Cliff advise us of tips that can be used for improvements in effective communication. 
 
Your opinion matters.  Of course.  But in balance.  We likely understand the importance of the other person.  Our clients.  Friends and family.  Collaborators of all forms.  In any method of communication.
 
Think of the other person.  Not just you.  Put yourself in their place.  Their head.  Thoughts and thought processes.  The questions they ask.  And, the answers.  As usual, listening matters.  Careful listening matters even more.
