Throwback Thursday: The Bargello Museum In Florence!

We visited the Museo Nationale di Bargello in Florence for the purpose of seeing Michelangelo marble statue of Bacchus*.  Our attention was diverted to this bronze sculpture in the inner courtyard of "Boy with Fish, (Il Pescatore)" (pictured above).  It was so lifelike that we could feel the boy's delight. This is the work of Vincenzo Gemilo circa 1877.
