Monday Motivational...Practice Patience
 
Did you ever run into one of those situations...a very simple, every day one...that seemed designed to test your patience?
 
If you let it, it can get your day started off on the wrong foot. You walk into your appointment ready to snap at the slightest transgression.  Or at the very least, you could let it ruin what started out to be a promising day. 
 
The other morning Larry and I pulled into a parking spot at Dunkin to purchase our coffee beans. I waited in the car and a young lady pulled up behind us in a big truck...not SUV but a big truck! As she walked by, she realized that she was blocking our car and apologized, saying she would only be a minute. 
 
Larry came out and she was still inside.  We sat and waited and drank some coffee. The only a minute turned into several and, men, I don’t mean to throw you under the bus, and yes, we ladies can be impatient, but I was totally amazed that Larry didn’t blow a gasket. 
 
He looked at the size of the truck and said It’s not easy to move a big truck around anywhere. We have our coffee...why sweat ... more
