Retired Brain Trust - Priceless!
 
Lately there have been folks I've had the pleasure of meeting and they're thinking of retiring or have already retired. Being in real estate I never really gave a thought to retiring - why would I?  Maybe I'm missing something here! These retired or semi-retired folks seem to be having a blast working on new projects, new businesses and enjoying life to the max. One of my clients retired a few years back and I never know what part of the world she's in at any given time. She says she wouldn't change anything about being retired. I think she's on to something!!
 
My husband and I were talking about this subject the other night. One of his brilliant co-workers is retiring and he knows what a brain trust this guy has - priceless. When I think about my husband retiring I know how much he will be missed by his colleagues. He's the go to guy for just about anything they need to know or learn.
 
Retired folks are a Huge Brain Trust to our professions and communities. HUGE.There are many here in the rain that continue on being part of the community and some do not. And that's ... more
