Ask An Ambassador: Are You Ready For Your Interview??
Saturday morning started off with no appointments.  We're entering the slower time of the real estate year here, and there were a LOT of leaves on the lawn that could use moved back into the woods where they came from!
But mid-morning the phone rang and it was an out of towner visiting family and the night before they'd decided rather than him continuing to rent, they might just buy a house instead!
We chatted for a bit and while I'm not normally a big fan of short notice work, they had a home they were interested in seeing so I made arrangements for a showing.  Long story short, 1 showing turned into 3, then a 2nd showing Sunday afternoon and an accepted contract Monday.
What does any of this have to do with being interviewed?  I never had to put on a suit and tie, but the fact is we were interviewed before the buyer ever picked up the phone.  She'd searched online for local agents and found us.  She'd looked at our reviews.  She'd read our bio and knew I was a Navy vet (bonus points since her daughter is in the Navy in San Diego).
