Bright Approach
I attended a WCR (Women's Council of Realtors) luncheon a few weeks ago.  I have frequently thought of the terrific presentation that the guest speaker delivered.  It was positive, upbeat and simply sparkled.  Chris Callier, VP of the Loan Network told the audience that he refused to participate in the gloom and doom.  The way to make sure you stayed positive in this marketplace employed a three pronged approach:
Mouth Gate: speak positively Don't bad-mouth buyers who are not rushing in to buy.  Do not bad-mouth other agents for not doing their part of the transaction.  Do not bad-mouth the economy.  By doing so, you bring yourself down. Speak about the good thing: buyers are looking; we have a transaction- perhaps it takes more work on my apart right now, but we have a transaction and I will be happy to do whatever it takes to help make sure it closes for my client.  I will make my own market- in this business, there are always people who need to buy and/or sell.
