new orleans: Notes from the NAR Conference in New Orleans

Well, i just returned from the conference and found it very enlightening. With the site in New Orleans, the temptation exists to just skip all of the classes and roam the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, but we fought through it and had a productive conference. The highlights for me were: 1. In the Expo, an area was set up where multiple countries would meet and greet with attendees to introduce themselves and promote investment in their country. Of course, we had the opportunity to convince them that investing in our country, and more specifically, our city, was desirable as well. I'm … (8 comments)
