As if we have not had enough bad news for the condos and townhome communities --- if the HOA is 15% or more in arrears (homeowners not paying their HOA fee), new buyers will not be able to obtain a new loan until the arrearages are under 15%! If you have thought about listing your condo or townhome, please check with your HOA to make sure your HOA is up-to-date, and not aware a few days before a scheduled closing. This could save ALOT of heart ache well before!
