wildlife in denver: Wordless Wednesday - Enjoying Wildlife

Laura and I were out taking photos and video clips for a few videos last week, and ran across the huge deer, and a whole herd of antelope. This neighborhood is not in a rural area, maybe a couple blocks off a major highway just a few miles South of downtown Parker.
If you look closely, the deer was to the right of the gate. BTW, it hopped over that 6' gate like nobody's business.
Here you can see one antelope and another on the left, but as I drove around the corner, there were at least a dozen but scampered quickly … (14 comments)

Elk Sighting while showing homes in Denver
On occasion wildlife wander into Denver neighborhoods and cause some excitement. We have seen black bears looking for their next meal and mountain lions staring down the kitties.
Lately there has been many deer in the neighborhoods and rabbits are always plentiful.
This week has been very warm with temperatures remaining in the upper 90's, so no wonder these large elk were resting in the shade!
