The number of homes sold in Grand for the month of August was up 7% over July, and was up 16% from last year. The average sale price dropped 3% versus July, but was up 1% year over year. The average days on market was 63, which is a 19% increase over July and 32% less than August 2017. Sun City Grand is a unique adult community. I can best describe it as saying it's like living on an all inclusive resort. My parents live there, so I'm a little biased. But truth be told, I would live there if I were of age. It's a beautiful community. You'll notice that the housing inventory fluctuates each year, up in the fall and winter, down in the spring and summer.
