Halloween is upon us and I am amazed at Halloween when I see little children, in their costumes and running through yards. They are all excited about Halloween. In their excitement they could be in danger. They need our help to keep them safe. The American Red Cross put out this list of safety tips. Review these tips with your family. Today was a beautiful day here in the Carolinas. I have to agree with the song ... Nothing Could Be Finer Than to Be in Carolina in The Morning! Today it was absolutely beautiful here in Charlotte, NC. The weather is a bit cooler...it was in the low 80's and my three Boxers were having a blast running and playing in the backyard. My 8yo female Boxer named LadyLilly loves her stuffed toys and she carries them with her as she goes outside as well as carries them back into the house as she comes back in. Today she ran and played and was having such a wonderful time. She is the perfect example of.. Girls Just Want to Have Fun!

Last year I had purchased several pots of Tidy Button Mums to decorate our front entrance for the fall season. I purchased a variety of colors including red, yellow, orange and pink. They were beautiful and fit right in with the changing of the leaves. After they were finished blooming I decided to take some of them and plant them under the Silver Maple that I had planted a year earlier.
