Good morning and Happy New Year!!
 
I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable New Year's eve.
 
Today is the beginning of an entire new year and I am so excited.  I saw this saying and thought it so appropriate to share for today.
 
"A new year is like a blank book.  The pen is in your hands.  It is your chance to write a beautiful story for yourself."

goals: Pick One Word to Live By For 2015 .. I Have Chosen Intention! - 12/13/14 07:46 AM

Last week I got to listen to a great speaker on one of our morning calls. 
 
The focus was on writing and taking action with all of our goals for 2015.
 
This speaker related that each year she chooses one word to help guide her thru out the year and that it really helps her with her goals and focus.
 
Today I have been working on and finalizing my goals and written plan for 2015.
 
The word that I have chosen is intention.  I plan to mean what I do and do what I say.

As I review and set my goals for 2015 .... I also always look ahead several years and ask ... am I doing what I truly enjoy doing. 
 
The bigger question is ... you are not getting any younger ... Do I want to be hauling and hoping in my mid to late 60's, 70's and 80's?  Climbing in and out of the car, climbing steps, and etc. 
 
I also looked at my options ...

How do you plan to end 2014?  I always like to finish strong.
 
I hear so many making plans to slack off due to the holidays. They make excuses like people are not interested in buying or selling, everyone is waiting to do something new in 2015, it is better to wait and make my plans for the new year and etc.
 
I have always found the last month of the year to be my strongest month.  There is lots of business out there if you are interested and are not afraid to work.  By making plans, … (15 comments)

How would you rate your enthusiasm? Look at everything you do and decide if you are enthusiastic or reluctant at your approach.  Review your goals and how enthusiastic are you at working towards and obtaining these goals?  If you find that you are demonstrating a lot of reluctance you may be going after the wrong goals. 
If you are being successful and obtaining your goals then you will find enthusiasm comes naturally.  Making the right moves will also increase your enthusiasm.  Everytime you make a move toward a goal examine it for enthusiasm
